Cant access recovery mode

  Good day mga sir....
  my son have an LG P990(2X),medyo old phone n...eto po nangyari, the other day ngtry xa mginstall ng custom rom and ang ngyari is hindi compatible ang custom rom na ni.Install niya...so he tried magrecovery mode(pressing power & volume down)so ayaw pumasok sa recovery mode...naka.stuck lang xa LG Logo, but the thing is ung lg logo niya ay dalawa isa sa upper left and isa sa upper right....
  
  any suggestion po b? or my needed b idownload pra magwork ulit ang phone niya....

  the only way to fix is to install the old orig rom which is malabo kana maka kuha since its very old

  can i install like cm rom?....and panu ko ulit ma.iinstall ung rom ayaw ma.access ang recovery mode
