  hey guys! need ko mga opinions, comments, reviews about myphone QW29.
  tell me bout the advantage and disadvantage,
  how long you had this phone?
  
  user friendly ba? at bagay pa to kahit sino kung ano ang lifestyle sya meron..
  
  I've been eyeing this phone for days as a birthdaygift for my good friend (syempre ayaw ko mapahiya sa ibibigay ko!) at ito lang maisip kong regalo na i'm sure she'll love it!

  Kailangan mo pa ba ng opinyon? Kakabili ko lang nito as my secondary phone. And here's my verdict.
  
  This is an OK phone. Mabilis ang response pag nagta-type. Yan ang malaking bagay na natutunan ko when it comes to qwerty phones and touchscreen phones.
  
  Kung ang preferred mo ay touchscreen, go for capacitive touchscreen phones with bigger ROM and high CPU processing power. Dahil kung bitin diyan sa mga elements na yan, ay naku! Ang bagal ng phone. Kung fast texter ka, nakaka-10 pindot ka na ng letra, tatalo pa lang nag-a-appear sa phone mo. At wrong spelling pa.
  
  Sa qwerty, walang problema sa pag-type. Pag pindot, labas agad ang letra. That's one advantage of this unit.
  
  Another one, OK ang wifi niya. At least, in my case. I tried using my wifi sa bahay. Although hindi ko pa nata-try yun mga public wifi hotspots. Wala naman akong naging problema sa mga programs except OPERA MINI. Na medyo proper settings lang pala ang kelangan. Kasi by default, the applications connect using your network provider. You just need to configure each para mag-connect via wifi. Pag lahat sila eh properly configured na, then via wifi na ang gagamitin nilang connection.
  
  Pero yung mga application, hindi talaga application. Para lang siyang shortcut that will direct you to the site. For example, FACEBOOK. May facebook icon sa menu. When you click it, ang talagang bubukas ay yung browser ng phone na idi-direct ka sa facebook website. Ganyan din sa twitter, But at least, yung ibang applications naman ay talagang java, like SKYPE, EBUDDY, YAHOO MESSENGER.
  
  Third, very decent ang sound pag gagamit ka ng earphone. Maganda ang tunog niya, may equalizer ang player. Pero pag speaker ng phone, parang hindi ako satisfied. Especially sa kaso ko, metikuloso ako pagdating sa sound quality. Pag full volume na, basag na ang sound. Pero pag hindi full volume, decent din naman ang sound. Just don't activate the full bass and SRS surround.
  
  Yung camera naman, alhtough 3.2MP ang camera, ang pangit ng picture quality. Wala na ako masasabi. Basta pangit.
  
  Another thing that I love with this unit is the use of TRACKPAD. Ang laking advantage nito, especially dun sa mga previous cellphone users na ang navigation ay joystick. You will have this feeling na para kang gumagamit ng blackberry because of the trackpad navigation.
  
  Regarding sa paggamit ng memory card, up to 8gig ang supported niya. Although sa experience ko, 2gig pa lang nakasalpak pero mabagal ang reading. But it has nothing to do with the unit but the quality of microSD that you will use. Dalawa kasi ang memory card ko, I have one 2gig standard microSD and I have one 4gig CL10 microSDHC. At napakabilis ng response kapag yung microSDHC ang gamit mo. So tip yan sa mga balak bumili ng microSD para sa cellphone nila. ALWAYS BUY AT LEAST CL4 NA MICROSDHC. Wag yung standard lang. Mas mataas yung CL, mas OK.
  
  I can't seem to find in the phone kung paano mababago yung six main icons sa home screen. Sa ibang unit kasi (cherry mobile, for instance), yung six main icons sa home screen, pwede mo palitan to suit your taste and need. Dito, hindi ko makita. Kung may nakakaalam kung paano mababago yung six icons na tinutukoy ko, tulong naman at i-share niyo dito yung paraan.
  
  Magaan din yung phone. Pwedeng i-charge kahit sa PC. Pag connect sa USB slot, magcha-charge na rin siya, which is quite convenient.
  
  I tried connecting my jabra BT3030 bluetooth headset and my Nokia BH503 bluetooth headset dito sa unit na ito. At parehong tinanggap. So OK na OK ito dun sa mga mahilig makinig ng mp3 na ayaw ng maraming kurdon. Madali i-connect yugn mga bluetooth headset sa unit.
  
  Isa pa pala, yung messaging. Sa ibang unit By default, laging may SIM1 and SIM2 Na section. Dito sa unit na ito, kung isang sim lang ang inserted, then wala na yang sim1 and sim2 section na yan. Automatic, para lang siyang single-sim unit. Nagkakaroon lang nung sim1 and sim2 section kapag naka-dual sim mode yung phone.
  
  Last, I can't seem to uninstall or remove java applications and games. Supposedly when you install a java application/games, pwede. Pero walang option to delete them. Kasi yung OPERA MINI, merong update. Nag-update naman siya, pero yung old version, hindi nawala. I was trying to remove the old version pero walang delete option. Kung may nakakaalam kung paano gawin ito, please feel free to help.
  
  Overall, ang phone na ito ay great for our jologs kababayan. Wala pong masamang tinapay dito ha! What I am saying is OK ang phone for the budget-conscious consumers na concern sa presyo ng cellphone pero gusto ng wifi. Kasi wifi ang pangunahing bentahe ng unit na ito. Wala itong TV, so it's a minus point. Pero meron naman unit na may TV rin. Mas mataas nga lang ang price.

  gusto ko sana ito.pinagpipilian ko ito at yung LG C375(wifi,dual sim din) 4490php.2mp camera pero malinaw.waht do you think?

  I checked the specs of LG C375 sa gsmarena, may pagkakahawig sila sa itsura. But the things is, pareho rin sila ng features. Ang lamang ng MYPHONE is 3mp ang camera pero hindi maganda. Ang lamang ni LG C375 is yung pangalan at yung sinasabi mong 2mp camera na maganda ang output. So saan ka, sa brand name or sa price and feature? Kasi ang price nitong QW29 ay 3,488 sa myphone mismo. It's your prerogative.
  
  Now, as an alternative, may isa akong nakitang MYPHONE model na mas maganda. And that's QW30. All the features of QW29, pero ito pong QW30 ay 3G phone. Meaning, may video calling dahil may front camera, may dedicated keys para sa mga internet applications. Ang price nito ay 4,999 pesos. For more info about this product: <click here for link>

  just got my qw29 today. bakit ganun hindi ako mka-konek sa wifi namin. laging CONNECTION FAILED. sana may makatulong. salamat
