  sobrang mahal nito tapos ung OS is not a priority pa for nokia. tama ang desisyon kong hindi na to hintayin at bumili na lang ng xperia ray :)

  That price is for the un-subsidized unit. Could be much "cheaper" if telcos would offer it with their mobile subscription plan.

  nope, maemo at meego based ang n9, and ang mga developer platform ng mga future apps nito is based on QT framework which is napakadami sa nokia store

  although medyo pricey nga tong N9, di naman cheap ang ichura at OS nito para sabihing dapat 18k lang to..

  
  wishful thinking lang yung 18.5k and i doubt na ganun ang price niya once dumating na dito sa atin. nokia pa sus. pero at 28.5k? seriously? sweet spot nyan is 21k like nung bili ko sa n8 last december. anything more than that eh i'd rather buy 'em dual-cores.

  I am getting this phone! 28.5K is a bit overboard in my opinion, parang iphone ang presyo. But yeah tama yung nagsabi na after a month or so bababa din yan.
  
  Also for those worried na walang support ang N9 at Meego, I just read from gsmarena that Nokia promises support for the OS for a minimum of 3years. That coupled with the awesome OS, rich features, polycarbonate body (same color ang plastic so pagnascratch mo, di halata dahil same color ung buong body kahit sa loob) results in a phone that could take Nokia back to the top again!

  Waaahh grabe mhal pa 28k. Oo bababa pa yan. Mataas kasi demand kaya siguro taas din ng price. Bili nalang pag 21k na. Haha.. sa wakas dadating na ang phone na masasabi kong complete at wala na ko marereklamo. :)

  I feel the same way, a complete phone that doesn't need a case to stay beautiful (read: gorilla glass, polycarbonate case). Plus it can run android apps pa (rumor)!

  I went to the Nokia shop in trinoma the other day and nakakatawa, wala silang kaalam alam about sa N9. Mas marami pa tayong alam. They just keep on telling me na "Sir 500 at 701 pa lang meron kami e." Sheesh. Nasa PH website na nga tapos uninformed pa Nokia employees.

  ganda talaga neto.. hayyy ang hirap magipon at mangupit.. hahahaha.. walang wala ito sa mga smartphones running android. ewan kba kahit maga2nda os ng samsung, htc, motorolla, at sony ericcson prang alang thrill.. una ang pakit ng icons nila, tas yun quality ng sound at ng housing prang madali masira.. kahit ano p sbihin nila sa nokia eh no. 1 pdin dito sa pinas.. ang samsung labas ng labas ng mga bagong phone tas ang ma2hal ang bilis din bumaba ng presyo ksi kunti bumibili..

  pag lumabas to sigurado nasa 24-28k pesos. pero maybe i'll just wait for the price to fall.. pag nasa 21-22 na yan kukunin ko na talaga yan..please lang lumabas ireleased na nila ito.. hehehe..

  Share lang galing sa n8 thread.
  As you can clearly see, Nokia N9 just doesn�t even come close to the Nokia N8 in both situations. Flash on or off in a fairly dim lit room. It�s like night and day. There really isn�t a single mobile phone out there right now that can beat the N8&#8242;s camera image quality. This is because N8 uses a MUCH larger sensor (more than double) and a MUCH brighter xenon flash than pretty much all mobile phones. (that includes the N9/iPhone4S/ SGS2 etc) It�s really unfair to compare them to the N8 really. N9 isn�t bad at all and its performance should put it at the top end of the current crop of mobile phones. It�s just that N8 is on a league of its own.

  The camera is the least of my concerns. I'm not buying the N9 because of the cam. I'm buying it because it's primarily a phone that I want. Those two sets of pictures by the way were shot in default settings of both phones.

  Released in Singapore, 64gb priced at 899 SGD (30.5K). My sister will get one for me then dalhin nya sa xmas. Yipee!
