  Attention: this is NOT flashing a rom! It is restoring base on the procedure.

  
  
  

  Things needed:
  
  Root and Recovery download and installation instructions...
  
  Driver for A840S: <click here for link>
  Jellybean root Tool for A840S: <click here for link>
  Recovery tool v1: <click here for link>
  File recovery on hard-rom (nguyen_vh_recovery_jb.zip):<click here for link>
  
  1. download files
  2. Copy A840s_root for all_JB.zip and nguyen_vh_recovery_jb.zip to your phone
  3. unzip recovery tool on PC
  4. turn off phone, press 3 hard keys (volume up, down and power button) altogether
  and select fastboot mode
  5. Plug the connection cable to PC and open recovery v1 (recovery tool v1)
  6. choose install recovery from fastboot
  7. press number 1 and then enter on PC. Phone will have a recovery.
  8. When you see recovery screen choose install zip from sd card
  9. Select file A840s_root for all_JB.zip, choose yes
  (using up and down volume button to select and power button to choose it), done
  10. choose nguyen_vh_recovery_jb.zip, choose yes, done
  11. Complete! You can update your ROM now.

  Installation Instruction:
  
  1. Download the rom file, extract, copy ClockworkMod folder
  or memory card into the machine.
  2. In recovery, wipe data / factory reset, the advanced, davik wipe cache,
  wipe battery stats.
  3. In backup & restore, select restore, then restore selected 1970-01-15.15.58.16.
  4. After the restore is complete, reboot always.

  yup!merong OTG 840s pero di ko pa natetest...you can check it if meron ka file explorer then go to root directory>storage>dapat merong OTG folder

  @replica thanks sa tuts mo how to root and install recovery.. rooted na s5 ko pero wala pa gin ako gots mag install ng v8 na rom parang ang hirap na maxado sa mga beginners tulad ko hehe

  ^Basic lang ksi gusto ko gamitin sa OTG. fox example. lalagay mo ung mouse mo pra mgamit mo for browsing. pwde din lagay mo ung usb mo then makikita ng andoid phone mo. eto may OTG cable ang cdrking hhe...
