sakin naman di gaano umiinet, no aircondition here. pero since nagbasa ako ng mga articles about Li-ion battery handling, I make it a point na pag magchcharge ako, nakapatong sya sa heat absorber material like metal or glass, also well ventilated yung lugar.
I think I should clarify. I don't think there is a problem when it gets hot during charging. All batteries get hot when charging. The problem is in software, the temp ceiling is not high enough for the warning to occur. My Samsungs and iPhone get hot also when charging, but there's no annoying warning message.
This is getting frustrating. Now, I want to sell the lousy thing.

napacheck nyo na po ba for warranty? baka nga kase software malfuction tulad ng sabi nyo. di pa kase ako nakakreceive ng hot battery warning from my phone, been using it already for a month.
about the headset, using creative earphones here, no problems encountered. also planning to use skullcandy in the future, earbuds naman xD

Agree! Ako im using Samsung headset galing sa S3 ni misis...kasi sya nagpalit ng senheisser....tried the senheisser gumagana din, ginamit ko ung old nokia headset gumana din....bakit kaya sa iba ayaw? pa check nyo mga boss sa sun shop para kung may sira talaga mabigyan kayo recommendation or palitan unit nyo if still under replacement warranty...
Sa mga ayaw na sa GLORY 2 benta nyo na!!! baka mapag usapan ang price PM nyo ko....ahihihihihii

Sa mga may problem sa charging na madaling uminit...baka naman sa loob ng oven kayo doing the charging....lol...just kidding....i encountered this pero once lang ata....anyways mas maganda na yang merong warning kesa naman bigla nalang sumabog.....at saka MADALI LANG MGA BOSS ang SOLUSYON jan....place it in a room temperature while CHARGING....hindi po kelangan ang air conditioner JUST TO CHARGE the unit...OA naman ng ganun siguro...

Also happened to me once and I found out that while charging, wifi was on and it was downloading a lot of updates causing the unit to heat up. I just stopped the downloads then OK na.
Check for any applications running in the background which may cause the unit to work up a heat.

Meron po bang naka-experience sa inyo na nagre-restart 'yung Alcatel Glory 2 niyo? 'yung sa akin kasi nagre-restart e. Di ko alam kung sa battery ba o sa mismong phone siya o sa mga apps na ini-install ko. Nagpa-palit na ako at ganun pa rin. Nag-factory reset ako. Di ko lang alam kung mag-rerestart ulit.

check ur notification settings sa battery saver....

agree...why worry? ang alam ko once nag set ka ng low battery option sa battery saver magbi blink talga yan..ako naka set ng 15% - kaya pagdating ng 15% ng battery ko blinking na sya meaning NEED KO NA mag charge....

observe the unit sir...sabi nga ng mga doctor "if symptoms persists consult your doctor" - if lagi lagi then you have to bring it back sa sun shop..for check up then kung need repair bibigyan ka nila ng referral sa authorized service centers...

gamit ko pong headset soundmagic pl11 ok naman po sya.
saka question po san po makikita yung option na use external sdcard as your storage b yun para mag switch yung internal at external?
gamit ko po class 6 16gb plan ko po magpalit ng 32gb na class 10.

observe the unit sir...sabi nga ng mga doctor "if symptoms persists consult your doctor" - if lagi lagi then you have to bring it back sa sun shop..for check up then kung need repair bibigyan ka nila ng referral sa authorized service centers...
Salamat Sir! Parang sa memory card ata ang problema. 2gb lang kasi at andami nang laman. Kasi nung tinanggal ko yung memcard, di na siya nagrerestart. Anyhoo, salamat ulit sir! :)

In my own opinion, depende din sa charger yung prompt na lumalabas na battery warning. Dalawa kasi charger ko, isang galing samsung at isang replacement. Sa replacement hindi lumalabas. Lumalabas din yan kung kakagamit mo lng ng unit na uminit sa kamay mo (nag data connection/wifi ka) sabay charge. Ang ginagawa ko is placing the phone in a piece of cloth to absorb the heat. Kailangan din ni AG2 ng pagmamahal haha.

regarding sa temperature notification during charging.
nangyayari lang sakin ito kapag ang charger ko ay rated more than 500ma. regardless kahit anong ginagawa sa phone or kahit anong ambient temperature sa room.
IMO ok lang naman na charging rate ng phone ay 500ma lang. mas mabuti para sa battery kapag hindi masyadong mabilis ang charging.

in my case, i tried using 1A charger at wala naman problema basta malamig ang ambient/room temp.
