Offline GPS is working very fine on my A919:
Did you do this before you try:
Save the gps.conf to system/etc folder
Make sure the permission of the file is
rw-r--r--
Reboot
Go setting, turn on your "use GPS satelites" and "Integrate Google Navigation"
Restart the device (normal restart)
Use GPS status and Toolbox
Tool available in market for free, please donate so developers are encouraged for better release in the future
If this is your first run, do:
Open app> tools> manage A-GPS state>Reset
Open app> tools> manage A-GPS state>Download
Optional restart device (not compulsory)
Use GPS status to start fixing satelites
Your satelite fixing speed should VERY FAST now
After get a successul GPS Lock, open your GPS applications and use like normal (e.g. Copilot, Sygic, or TomTom)
You can now use GPS even off line.

Tried the SIM on my Nokia phone, working naman siya. What should I do. By the way, the phone is already rooted.

Is it the 30fps (frames per sec) or 30hz (hertz refresh rate?)
I havent checked the specs of P700i since wala pa talaga naka install kahit ano aside sa temple run at fruit ninja... maliit nga lang screen nya pero kung fluidity ang usapan, imba UI ng P700i.

Kapag talaga nag compare ka sa ibang unit, any item for that matter, lalo na sa hindi niya ka price range, makakakita ka ng CONS ng unit mo.
But with the price (7600-7900) of A919 and its specs...

^True it may have a higher frame rate, 4Inch IPS + 2500 mAh battery, siguro it scales well sa battery efficiency.
P700i is has a 50% higher pricetag compared to a919, are you willing to spend that much just for fluidity? Minus the Camera Flash, and an inch smaller screen? For me its a no.

@botsok3skelion
kung meron ka namang extra cash para habulin ung pinanlulumo mo sa Lenovo. e di mas maganda, maluwang ang dibdib mo kung binili mo ung tinitibok ng puso mo. again. user's preference. if you cant find good about something, then it is not for you. yes... seriously... its not.
to add it up... nung nagbukas ang thread ng myphone A919 sa tcp. nag abang talaga ako ng CONS. nag research ako ng PROS. madami akong tiningnan ibang phone, kasama na jan ang lenovo line ups from 10K-15K sabi ko worth it naman sa price saka reliable yung brand. pero nung tumagal, nakita ko mga vids sa youtube about micromax a110 (myphone A919), nakita ko na OK naman sha. wala naman kaso. malaki pa screen. di naman washed out ang color. IPS pa. 5 multi touch system. so tinimbang ko. sabi ko di ko naman pagmamasdan ung screen ko habang inililipat lipat ko ng homescreen. so ok lang kahit 30fps. ang importante mabilis pag lumipat lipat ako ng windows sa loob ng phone. kaya naman din nya mag play ng HD games. maganda naman sounds. so kung bibilangin mo ung PROS nya tapos titingnan mo ung price. aba. swak din pala. ok din ang after sales kasi hawak ng Sony. so safe ka na sa lagay na yun. ngayon kung bibilangin mo ung CONS tapos titingin ka sa ibang brand. marami ka talagang makikitang iba. so its up to you. decide kung ano talaga kailangan mo. saka mo bilhin. para wala ka pagsisihan.
like in the other case of my tablet. dami ako pinilian from all china tabs na maganda, like Pipo AC ryan, Ainol etc. magaganda sila, pero isa lang nagpataob sa kanilang lahat. yung 1month warranty. so decided to go for Nexus 7. then convincingly the price difference is worth every peso. but thats another story.....
ciao
