  Thanks, it seems I need to refresh my Win7 install as I'm having some problem w/ LG stock update on Win 7. My last attempt on Win XP failed also as the update tool failed to detect the phone model.

  Hmm... Kung gusto mo, pwede mong dalhin sa LG shop yan sir Deja. May minimal fee nga lang if out of warranty na ang phone. Pero tutal stock ka naman, they offer upgrade services naman. :)

  May I ask those who upgraded to official ice cream sandwich update is it worth it compared to gingerbread? Is the performance difference noticeable? What changes or improvements have been made? Battery drain? Feedback please thanks

  If a refresh of my laptop does not fix this then I'll consider dropping by LG. Or I might go via SmartFlash/NVFlash method na lang ... :) Thank you very much.

  how do you root the ics v30b? superoneclick keeps freezing at step 7.
  
  Ok, this was annoying... had to smartflash to ICS, then cwm, then install superuser via cwm... now sprite backup is not working which i used to backup my contacts and sms...

  @dynamite: tagal ko ng hindi naka stock GB. Pero from what I hear from people, stock ICS is definitely an improvement over stock GB.

  paano pag update sa ICS? NAg try ako magupdate sa LG PC Suite pero wala raw update sa phone ko.

  Di pa available ang official ICS for o2x sa pinas as of today. If you look in the update tool from LG Vietnam pa lang meron V30 at sa Telecom Concepts Inc. No need to connect the phone just launch the tool and look in Customer Support->Supporting Model, you may have to change the country to Philippines. Meron na ngang V30c... looking at the way GB was rolled out baka sa V30d or e pa tayo masali doon. But you are free to update to the other available official v30 from the other regions. If you do use the versions from the other regions you will get a time sync issue when using automatic time update dahil sa baseband is not for our region.
