  Finally saying goodbye to my xt720 and leaving this thread.. I bought a nokia n8 which they say na king of camphones. Un din amg akala ko kaya nagpalit ako.. Inde ako comvinced sa pic quality ng n8.. When it comes to camera, i can say na mas maganda pa rin ang xt720. Pero wala na. Talagang nasa huli ang pagsisisi.. Hehe bye xt720 thread!

  New XT720 user here... Im just glad I updated my phone successfully to Dexter's Android Froyo 2.2.1 this morning and it's worth it!!! Its faster than before (stock 2.1)! I also partitioned my 16GB microSD to link my downloaded apps via Link2SD! Now my Moto XT720 is complete! :))

  last forumer na kaya ako ng xt720? totoo nga pag naka link2sd na app sulit na ang milestone na ito. extended storage talaga kaya maintained ang 85mb of internal storage...all apps get installed to an 800mb second partition from my 8 gb memcard..

  Naka Update 2.2.1 froyo ako , then niroot ko tapos ininstall ko yung OpenRecovery..
  
  tapos ininstall ko yung Custom rom ni Dexter Froyo 2.2.1 with 1.2GHz processor
  
  after installing stock221v13, nag system reboot ako tapos nag stuck nalang sa M logo with black background.

  bricked is a general term used for a completely messed up device, due to modification of its internal memory. for now it is considered bricked. but there is a way to revive your phone if you can still access the bootloader. you may use rsdlite to reflash a fresh sbf file. please do a proper research which sbf file is compatible to your phone. it should not be a big issue but just be warned every time you mess up with the internal memory of your device there is a chance of bricking it semi or permanently.
  
  btw, your 2nd pic shows open recovery is looking for some files in your sd card. try reinstalling/copying those files to your sd card.
  if this fails i guess reflashing is your only option.
