Motorola MileStone

  may tanong lang po ako, may kakilala po ba kayo na nag-aayos ng power button at digitizer ng milestone 1? yung mura lang po sana...sira po kasi yung sakin di magamit..sayang naman kung di maaayos...T_T

  san kaya meron ng digitizer nito? nakabili ako dati sa carriedo kaso ngayon sira na ulet. at wala na nagbebenta dun puro pang htc na haha

  that sucks bro. so far my replacement digitizer is going strong. lampas 1year na siguro
  
  and i recently downgraded to eclair. so much faster than froyo :P

  Sira na yung power/lock button ng Milestone ko. Na-configure ko yung volume controls pang wake-up ko via cyanogenmod settings, para hindi masyadong magamit yung power button.
  
  Pero ngayon natuluyan na talaga ata, hindi ko na magamit yng power button. Ngayon naka-on pa yung Milestone, pero di ko na pwede i-off ito, until mapalitan ko.
  
  Ano bang ok na (ICS & up) android phone na meron pa rin hardware keyboard? Suggestions please, pppunta ako Hong Kong next week, baka may makita ako dun.

  bro mura nalang daw motorola ME632 sa mongkok shops nabasa ko. pwede magpabile? hehehe. it's a qwerty bar phone. hindi slider. 480x640 lang resolution pero pwede na rin. pero gingerbread

  Sira pa rin yung power/lock button ng milestone ko. Hindi na rin ako bumili ng bago muna dahil wala akong makitang ok na phone na may hardware keyboard.
  
  Anyway share ko lang ang workaround ko dun sa power button ko na sira.
  1. Under cyanogenmod (I'm using CM6 by nadlabak) settings, I set volume rocker wake enabled so I can wake the phone by pressing the volume buttons
  
  2. Downloaded a shake to lock app from the market, marami yan, just pick one which works well for you. There are also apps that let you put an icon on your homescreen to lock the phone.
  
  3. Since the power button is busted, you can't power off the phone normally. There are apps that shutdown the phone, but I didn't install any of those. I just let it drain down, or pull the battery.
  
  4. Again, since the power button is broken, you can't turn it on normally, but there's a way. Get a charger, plug the milestone in while holding X on the keyboard. The screen will turn on and show the M logo, keep holding X until you get into recovery mode. Once you're in recovery mode, unplug the charger, then select "reboot". The phone will now reboot and power up. I can't remember if the stock ROM recovery mode has a reboot option, but my Milestone is using Androidiani.

  sana po may makatulong sakin. I have motorola milestone. Ang problem po ng phone ay hindi makac0nnect sa wifi. I tried to reset it to factory setting but no luck. Ang the 0ther thing is if i let my wifi on, nagsushut down/auto reb0ot si milest0ne. I kn0w k0nti nalang po ang may ph0ne na ganito, pero sana may makatulong sakin. :)

  i'm now rocking the Droid4 :) fyi it's a verizon CDMA but latest firmware allows GSM when outside the USA. 3g/hsdpa works perfectly here in PH
