this an objective statement of events:
Sometime May 2004, my Eizo 20" monitor broke down. Since i could not lug around such bulky equipment, i surfed at pinoypc and tipidpc to know who were the reputable technicians capable of repairing my monitor. I frequently encountered the name profpatpending. I called his contact number and he agreed to do a home service. He arrived and i offered him food and refreshments and we chitchatted somewhat being a fellow bosconian and all. After opening the monitor and doing a cursory check, he said that he could not fix it on the spot and that he needed to take it home with him. i agreed and paid him 500 pesos for his trouble with the agreement that it would be considered an advance for the total amount for repairs to be done on the monitor. A week later he brought his uncle's Hummer and took home my monitor. He initially said that repairs would take a month. After a month i called him and he confirmed that the damaged part was the flyback and that he was waiting for it to become available. this went on for the next 6 months, with him making no effort on giving me any updates and me calling him each time with the same answer. Fed up, i cordially asked him to return the monitor and he said that he would do so once he can borrow his uncle's Hummer. Since then i have not sent any communication to him and he has has made any attempt to deliver or communicate on the status of the delivery to me. It has been a year since raffie had my monitor and the 500 pesos i advanced for his trouble. I am not expecting my monitor back. I am writing my monitor off. i know that raffie may have a lot of positive feedback, but he's getting one objectively written negative feedback from me for this transaction.
